Great World Race Prep Update with Dr. Greg

Great World Race Prep Update
Dr. Greg Wells

In this solo update, Dr. Greg Wells shares where things stand as he and his daughter Ingrid prepare for the Great World Race: seven marathons, on seven continents, in seven days. With the first marathon in Antarctica now only weeks away, Greg reflects on the surprising progress they have made after months of injury, rehab, strength work, yoga, and long, low-intensity walking.

This episode is less about extreme sport and more about rebuilding capacity. Greg explains why the easy work has mattered more than the hard work, why the boring fundamentals have made the biggest difference, and how small, consistent actions can turn something that once felt impossible into something that begins to feel achievable. Along the way, he invites listeners to think about their own version of “possible” and to use the 777 challenge as a spark for health, performance, and personal growth.
